   green snake zool., one of two harmless american snakes
      cyclophis vernalis, and c. aestivus. they are
      bright green in color.

      a chem. sulphate of iron; a light green crystalline
          substance, very extensively used in the preparation of
          inks, dyes, mordants, etc.

          of iron.
