   mineral candle, a candle made of paraffin.

   mineral caoutchouc, an elastic mineral pitch, a variety of
      bitumen, resembling caoutchouc in elasticity and softness.

      a powerful jet of air or steam through melted slag. it is
      a poor conductor of heat.
